ABOUT US
Community Advocates, Inc. is a private non-profit corporation, founded and operated by women. The primary service provided is the production and sale of high-quality items at reasonable prices to be used by blind and visually impaired persons.
OUR TEAM
Dr. Pearl Van Zandt worked at State and National levels in the blindness field for nearly 40 years. She cofounded Community Advocates, Inc. to provide services to fill unmet needs. CAI began providing Click Rules for the blind when they became unavailable from other sources.
Duncan Larsen has worked in the blindness field for over forty years. She is a Certified Mobility Instructor and has worked as a teacher, counselor and program director. She co-founded Community Advocates, Inc.
Deb Parker has been a Board Member for more than 30 years. She was a volunteer driver for older blind persons. She assists with filling Click Rule orders and provides other supports for Community Advocates, Inc.
